Roadmap

Card Buddy is still a brand new app and I need your help. Let me know which features you’d like to see next. If there’s enough interest, I’ll prioritize work on that feature.

Here’s a list of features I’m thinking of adding next, in no particular order:

• Card Dock – a temporary place to put your cards while you rearrange things
• Resizable cards, arbitrarily placed on the board - Instead of being fixed to a grid, cards will be movable anywhere and resized independently of each other
• Card Palette - drag and drop pre-styled cards from the palette
• Tabbed documents
• Nested stacks - toss cards together into a stack, then expand the stack to view another canvas
• Clickable links and link previews
• More text styling options: font picker, text alignment, rich text formatting
• Arbitrary file drag and drop — Wouldn’t it be great to just drop a PDF into the document?
• Sharing — Share selected cards, or the entire board, to others in a screenshot, suitable for social media.
• Mini-map — A zoomed-out view of the whole board in the corner so you know where you are when zoomed-in.
• Colored dots — Place a dot in the corner of each card so you can quickly mark them as done, needs work, work-in-progress, etc.
• Drawing — Sketch inside cards.
• User Stories Card Arrangement — Similar to kanban board, but cards can be positioned above or below a “cut” line
• Video playback
• Pinned cards
• Image Formatting Options
  • choose from aspect fill or aspect fit
  • choose focus of image
• Better vertical alignment options in Kanban mode — It would be great if you could align lists in the middle of the board.
