What happens if I stop subscribing?

If you stop subscribing, all of your existing translations will still be available to you. You will simply be unable to create new translations.

How to Cancel a Subscription

Subscriptions are managed by Apple and can be cancelled from the App Store. More information on how to cancel a subscription can be found here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/118428

Getting Started

Creating Your First Book

Click File > New Book (⌘N) or use the “New Book” button
Select your source language (the language you’re translating from)
Select your target language (the language you’re translating to)
Start adding translations!

Adding Translations

Type text in the source language input field on the left
Press Return to translate to your target language
Your translation pairs are automatically saved to your books

Core Features

Multiple Books

Create separate books for different language pairs
Switch between books using the sidebar

Search and Filter

Search through your translations in real-time by typing in the source or target field
Your existing phrases will be filtered immediately based on what you type

Text-to-Speech (TTS)

Click the play button next to any text to hear pronunciation
To listen to the text-to-speech pronunciation in the target language, double-click a phrase to enter Editing mode
Helps improve your listening skills and pronunciation

Editing Mode

Double-click a phrase to bring up Editing Mode
Re-translate the source or target side by pressing the globe button
Play text-to-speech by pressing the play button on either source or target side

Flashcards

Access via File > Study Flashcards or shift-cmd-Return
In the app settings, choose to start with source language, target language, or random

Export to CSV

Export selected translations or entire books to CSV format
Right-click on translations to export specific entries
Perfect for importing into other study tools or creating backups

Keyboard Shortcuts

⌘N: Create new translation book
⌘L: Focus source input field
⌘K: Focus target input field
⌘C: Copy selected translations
Esc: Clear selection or return to input
